Graphical Editor Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts

AnyLogic provides you with a number of keyboard and mouse shortcuts, which you can use to perform actions when working with the graphical editor.

Keyboard shortcuts

Zoom in the canvas.

Zoom out the canvas.

Zoom the graphical editor to 100%.

Ctrl+A

Select all elements in the graphical editor.

Cut the currently selected element to the Clipboard.

Copy the currently selected element to the Clipboard.

Ctrl+V

Cmd+V

Paste the element from the Clipboard.

Rename the element currently selected in the graphical editor.

Delete the currently selected element.

Move the selected elements up, down, left or right in 10 pixels increments.

Move the selected elements up, down, left or right in 1 pixel increments.

Ctrl+Z

Undo the previous action.

Redo the previously undone action.

Mouse shortcuts

There are several modifier keys that you can use to alter the mouse actions when working with the graphical editor:

Zoom in or out of the diagram.

Alt+click

Option+click

Select a single element belonging to a group (or a single markup shape from a complex markup element).

Ctrl+drag

Cmd+drag

Create a copy of the current selection.

Option+drag

Move the current selection with snapping to grid temporarily disabled.

Shift+drag

Shift+drag

Shift the current selection horizontally / vertically while maintaining vertical / horizontal center alignment.
