Copying, Moving and Deleting Shapes

You can copy, move and delete shapes.

 To copy the selection on the Clipboard
  1. Choose Edit > Copy from the main menu, or
    Right-click (Mac OS: Ctrl+click) the selection and choose Copy from the popup menu, or
    Press Ctrl+С (Mac OS: Cmd+C).

 To cut the selection

  1. Choose Edit > Cut from the main menu, or
    Right-click (Mac OS: Ctrl+click) the selection and choose Cut from the popup menu, or
    Press Ctrl+X (Mac OS: Cmd+X).

  2. Drag the selection rectangle around the shapes.

 To paste the content of the Clipboard

  1. Choose Edit >  Paste from the main menu, or
    Right-click (Mac OS: Ctrl+click) the empty area of the diagram and choose Paste from the popup menu, or
    Press Ctrl+V (Mac OS: Cmd+V).
    The pasted shapes appear in blue outline.
  2. Move the pasted shapes to the desired position.

 To copy the selection

  1. Ctrl+drag (Mac OS: Cmd+drag) the selection.

 To move the selection
  1. Drag the selection, or
    Use arrow keys.

 To delete the selection

  1. Choose Edit >  Delete from the main menu, or
    Right-click (Mac OS: Ctrl+click) the selection and choose Delete from the popup menu, or
    Press Del.
