Restore saved experiment results

[Enabled if the model is idle] Loads the previously saved results of this experiment from the CSV file.

Save experiment results

[Enabled if the model is idle] Saves the results of the previously run experiment (data of all data elements and charts that are present on the experiment presentation) to the file in CSV format.

Restore saved snapshot

 Loads the earlier saved model snapshot from file. 

Save snapshot

Saves the current model state to file. Later on you can load the saved model snapshot and resume the model execution from that  moment on.

Execution control

Run from the current state

[Visible if the model is not running  at the moment] Runs the simulation.  Starts the execution, or if the simulation was paused, resumes the simulation from the current state.

Pause

[Visible if the model is running at the moment] Stops the simulation. You can resume the stopped simulation any time.

Step

Makes the step. The model is run until the first change in the window and then stops.

Terminate execution

Terminates the current model execution.

Time scale

Set real time mode at default scale

Sets the real time mode to the default scale.

Slow down

Slows down the model simulation by decreasing the scale of model time to real time.

Scale of model time to real time 

Displays the current scale ratio of model time and real time. You can change the current value using Slow down and Speed up buttons along the edges of this control.

Speed up

Speeds up the model simulation by increasing the scale of model time to real time.

Toggle real/virtual time mode

Switches to the real or virtual time mode. If virtual time mode is set, the button is shown pressed.

Animation setup

Refresh view

Refreshes the presentation view.

Adaptive frame rate

Sets the adaptive frame rate mode.

Decrease frame rate

Decreases the frame update rate.

CPU balance between presentation and simulation

Displays the current frame update rate. You can change the current rate using Decrease frame rate and Increase frame rate buttons along the edges of this control.

Increase frame rate

Increases the frame update rate.

Anti-aliasing drawing mode

Toggles anti-aliasing on/off.

Animation special effects

Turns animation special effects on/off. Currently they are: gradient moving animation for flows and slow opening of embedded object animation by double-clicking on its icon.

Turn off 3D shaders (use if 3D animation has wrong colors)

Turns 3D shaders off. Use it if you have some problems with rendering of objects displayed in 3D animation (wrong colors, etc.)

This button is never shown anymore after you click it!

View

Restore default zoom and origin

Restores default presentation scale and origin.

Zoom out

Zooms out the presentation.

Current zoom

Displays the current scale of the presentation. You can change the current zoom using Zoom in and Zoom out buttons along the edges of this control.

Zoom in

Zooms in the presentation.

Full screen mode 

Switches the window to the full screen mode. To return to the original window size, right-click (Mac OS: Ctrl+click) the empty area of the presentation and choose Full Screen from the popup menu.

Model navigation

View experiment

Shows the presentation of the experiment.


View root object
Shows the presentation of the root object.

View owner of this object

Shows the presentation of the owner of currently displayed object.

 Model explorer

Defines agent or experiment, which presentation should be displayed in the window.

Navigate to view area...

Opens the list of view areas. The user can select a view area from the drop-down list and the diagram currently opened in the graphical editor will be positioned to show the chosen view area.

Toolbar customization

Customize toolbar

Opens the list of toolbar sections enabling the user to customize the set of sections that should be present in the toolbar.

Events view

Available only from the menu opened by the Customize toolbar button (see above).

Opens the Events view. Using AnyLogic Events view, you can view the event queue of AnyLogic simulation engine to view what is happening at the simulation engine at the lowest level details and to make some changes to the event processing.
